One of the great things about August for me as a photographer is the opportunity to do some flower garden senior pictures. I don’t always get to do a bunch every summer because sometimes the senior girls aren’t all that into flowers or they have other locations in mind that are special for other reasons. And the senior guys typically prefer a more woodsy vibe over floral when it comes to outdoor photos. But it’s always in the back of my mind when we’re talking about locations.
When Molly came for her session planning appointment, she said she wanted to do her senior photo session outdoors, but she didn’t have a particular location in mind. Which is not a problem because I have several favorite locations to suggest. But to narrow it down a bit, I asked her if she preferred urban or something more natural like a park. She answered “more like a park” and added that she loved flowers. Got it. A park with flowers. (Inside, I did a little happy dance!)
