2016 Christmas Mini Sessions
I know, I know. It’s not even Halloween yet. Believe me, I totally get your frustration when Christmas decorations start popping up in stores in October. I mean, can we have a little Thanksgiving first? But, after planning our first ever Christmas minis, I realized that I was going to have to announce them early. All to help you cross holiday cards off your lengthy Christmas To-Do list. You’re welcome.
I had a some kids come over this week to model for me. You guys–this set is so much fun!!! Your kids are going to have a blast! And all I have to do is capture the smiles. (Well, that and keep them from eating the faux snow, but I’m hoping you parents will help out with that part.) 😉
What’s included?
Your $150 (plus tax) includes a fun 20-minute session in my home studio, 25 custom cards, an 8×10, two 5x7s, and a set of 8 wallets. You will be selecting your cards from the samples below, which were chosen to complement this set. You are also welcome to purchase additional sets of cards or prints.

How many kids can be in the picture?
This set will easily accommodate up to three children.

What ages do you photograph?
Typically 6 months and up. Babies must be able to sit unassisted on this set (with you very close by, of course. Safety first!).

Can mom and dad be in the photo, too?
Kids only, this time, please.

How many pictures will we have to choose from?
There are a couple of variables that effect the number of images you will see in your gallery. The two biggest ones are your child’s personality and time. That being said, my goal is to have 5 great photos for you to choose from.

We just had a baby, can we do a mini-session for our newborn portraits?
I adore newborns, but I need a full session to accommodate them.

What should we wear?
This is an outdoor themed session with faux snow as seen in the sample photos above. I recommend fun boots, hats and scarves to layer over a basic long-sleeved shirt or sweater. There are lots of outfit ideas on Pinterest and you can check out my family style board there, too.

Can we bring our dog?
As cute as that would be, our schedule on these mini-session days is too tight with lots of people coming and going. Please schedule a regular session if you want pet portraits. Although, I might be persuaded to do an afternoon of dog-only minis if there is enough interest.
Holiday Card Styles
Even though we are calling this Christmas Minis 2016, the set is really versatile and can easily be used for Hanukkah cards as well. You will be asked to choose a card style when you book your appointment. Here are a few samples that go really well with our set, but if you don’t see one here that you like, just ask. I’ve got lots of designs.
